Late Boneset/Thoroughwort (Native)

Late Boneset, scientifically known as Eupatorium serotinum, is a tall, perennial wildflower native to much of the eastern United States. It blooms from late summer into fall, producing clusters of small, white flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators. This plant prefers sunny locations with well-drained soil and is often found in meadows, fields, and along roadsides. Historically, boneset species were used in traditional medicine, although Late Boneset is primarily appreciated today for its role in natural ecosystems and its contribution to late-season nectar source.
